Line and Shape
Line and Shape Questions:
I took all of these photos except the last one at the school. In the shadow picture, Lauren's shadow is the subject. In the other photos, it is all different things. I liked to photograph signs/ words. All of these photos are very close up. Most of these photos aren't just straight forward, they follow the rule of thirds and are off to the side. The point of view is either straight forward or a little bit off to the side on an angle. My photos are both horizontal and some are vertical. The photo that is a dynamic composition is the one on the outside of the school with all the arches, because you follow the arches across the photo.

Pattern and Texture
Pattern and Texture Reflection
My best photo is photo number 5, the one with the water droplets on the car window. This picture was taken very close up to the window, and straight on. My photograph is vertical, and it does follow the rule of thirds since the tree that is in the background is off to the right side, not in the middle. The water droplets are the main focus, but they are small and go across the whole picture, but the other object in the picture (the tree) does follow the rule of thirds. This picture is both an example of pattern and texture, pattern because the water droplets are repeated, and texture because you can see the smoothness of the droplets and it is in focus nicely.
Photo number seven is under exposed. The keys need to be a little bit darker in the first row. I tried to fix this by dodging sand burning the first row of keys. Photo number two is underexposed, the background needs to be lightened, because I lost a lot of the picture when I adjusted it to that level. The best example of a properly exposed photo is photo number five, because it has a very good range of lights and darks, and you don't loose any parts of the photo.
